The Korean Cultural Center in Los Angeles has classes, so when I move back this summer I will start taking them! I have tried free, online courses but with no success. Until then I will keep watching kdramas and trying online games to help learn Korean.

How I did it: My first trip to Los Angeles I got tickets for the November 11th show in 2010. Parking was a little bit of a fiasco and we ending up parking at the Grove and finally got in. It was a long day (we got out of the studio around 5:30pm) but it was tons of fun! I went to another taping in January 2011 (with guest Jim Parsons!) and will be going again and again. How I did it: I searched videos on youtube and none of them were all that clear too me. I have the book Scarf Style by Pam Allen and in the back are some basic crochet instructions and those helped a lot.I found a free amigurumi pattern that I liked and started following that, but made it my own by the end. How I did it: Went to a Japanese restaurant today for my mum's birthday. We didn't sit at the sushi bar, but I could still sorta see it being made. I plan on going back and actually sitting at the bar! I don't think I'll ever be able to eat supermarket sushi again, it was sososo much better and delicious! Read how I did it…

after visiting Los Angeles for the first time in late 2010, I fell in love and couldn’t wait to live there! By Oct 2011, I had moved out here with my family. It’s been a great (almost) year and I will always enjoy visiting, but I’m definitely ready to get back to the east coast in a couple weeks.
I finally got to see him earlier this month at the highline ballroom in nyc. I didn’t want the show to end! He was SO good, very worth the wait!
