How I did it: I was lazy and didn't apply anywhere that had an application fee or that I had to write an essay for. I got into each of the 4 schools I applied to (Marian, Viterbo, Marquette, Loyola Chicago) and got each of their top scholarships. I decided on Loyola because it was in Chicago, close to home, etc etc. I graduated in 3 years instead of 4 because I just don't like being in school and it's hella expensive. How I did it: After two years of being sure exactly what and where I wanted, I brought a printout of the exact font of the text to Insight Studios in Chicago, the absolute best place in the Chicago area to go for tattoos and piercings.My artist (Ryan) made a transfer of my text, made sure it was what I wanted, and got to it. I brought an old friend with me for moral support and now, well, here I am. Read how I did it…
How I did it: After deciding not to believe in the dreaded sweater curse, I got a simple pattern from my mom (the same pattern she used to make a sweater for my dad a long, long time ago) and started. A month into it, I realized it was way too big and had to start completely over. (This month is included in the 4 months it took me to complete it.)
