I’ve been undergoing a lot of work-related stress lately so this list from Steve Pavlina’s web log caught my attention. These are suggestions for creating a more relaxing work space…

1.Make your workspace look attractive to you.
2.Clear out the clutter.
3.Add plants.
4.Make it smell good.
5.Play relaxing music.
6.Get a decent chair.
7.Add a portable fan.
8.Add a fountain.
10.Personalize your space.
11.Establish uninterrupted periods.

This list is good to begin with, if only company regulations would let me… :(

Paul McCartney, the most successful composer in popular music history has turned 64 last Sunday, June 18. I was just wondering, what are his answers to his song, the song he wrote when he was just 24 (I am 24!) It is an endearing list. I am fascinated, what a wonder it is to be Paul McCartney at 64! It will be great to know his answers, right? Maybe I should create my own list of questions, so I can be in his shoes when that time comes, if it will be willed by the powers above…

It is not natural for humans to be selfless, we are naturally “me first”, thus love is a commitment not a feeling… it is an effort to be mature and not be driven by our emotions, still learning, looking hopefully to control them and not act through them.
