All our lightbulbs are energy saving and it is a lot easier to convert them than I thought. We just bought a bulb every month and replaced one of the old ones. It saves us a fortune as well and helps reduce our energy usage which is better for the enviroment.

I start my nursing degree course in January 2009 – and I can’t wait! I know it’s not midwifery but the course requirements are strict. Also I decided to opt for a nursing course because there is a lot more scope to develop, and I can still specialise in Midwifery if I want to. Plus if I’d done midwifery and wanted to change part way through my career then I would have to do a conversion course, so in all I am happy with this. I just can’t wait to get started.

I love having my own home, fair enough I’ve still got a heftty mortgage but nonetheless it’s still a good feeling.
