I'm doing 10 things
I moved to Germany in January 2009. While I live in an touristy area (Wiesbaden) and could get away with not learning German, I want to fully immerse myself into the culture.
In addition, I want to attend Mainz University and I have to score as high as an intermediate level speaker to get entrance.
Lastly, while my boyfriend is American, he speaks fluent German. I want to be able to converse in both languages with him and his friends.
I would consider this goal completed if I can score at least an “intermediate” on the language test.
