Money is meant to be spent. I’ve saved thousands of dollars before, and the best part was spending it. Admittedly, it was on (mostly) necessities, nonetheless it was worth it just to have it to spend. A car, clothes, an apartment, a cell phone; I didn’t have any of that when I was saving. Living a wealthy life is about the quality of the life you live, not how much money you have sitting in an account somewhere. Working to get money to spend is better than working to save money to never spend, in my opinion.
