Graduated and moved to Bergamo in Lombardy – absolutely worth doing although a little lonely at first, and it does allow me to see my boyf on a slightly more frequent basis, even if we still do live on opposite sides of the country!

I’ve moved abroad to be closer to my boyf although we still live at opposite ends of the country because of work commitments. I’ve been in Bergamo for about 3months now and I’m finding it pretty tough to make friends. Any advice would be seriously appreciated! It doesn’t help that my work is really time consuming and nearly all of my colleagues are considerably older than me so it’s tough to socialise that way.
Just wanted to encourage everyone that tit IS possible to go and live in Italy, and its not a dream. I lived there for seven months last year, met the love of my life and am returning in September to live there indefinitely… Im 21, skint and have managed to find a job teaching English at university… if I can go it, so can you! Dai, su ragazzi!
