The bands usually broke apart, and rarely did any of them go much of anywhere before they did, but it was fun.
I highly recommend doing this, but do be sure that you’re in a band for love of making music, not because you want to get famous. I hate to break it to you, but if you’re in it for the latter reason, most likely you’ll be disappointed.

Because I don’t want children. I haven’t wanted children since I was four years old and discovered via my little cousin that they were not like little dolls, that they were smelly, messy, and saw how much time and energy the raising of them took.
Since then I have never changed my mind. I’ve never faltered, and the closest I’ve ever come to being a mother was considering marrying a man who had children from his first marriage.
I’m not going to be using my reproductive organs for the purpose of reproducing, and I’d really rather not have to worry about accidental pregnancy, or deal with the side effects that hormonal birth control has blessed me with.
I’ve wanted to be sterilized since I was fourteen years old, and only now am I old enough that a doctor will even speak to me about it.
