I’ve been enjoying myself heaps lately, it’s been grand! This is related to a few of my other “things” – I’ve found something and getting involved with something I’m passionate about (the Greens party in my state – Queensland, Australia). I’ve stopped procrastinating and started catching up my university work, and I’ve started writing music a bit more than usual lately. I’ve had a much more joyful state of mind of late, it’s been swell! The joy’s flowing in abundance over here in Gnooltown, feel free to roll around in it and get all gooey.

I was so pumped about the recent state election (Queensland, Australia), with it being my first state election and my first election volunteering for a party (the Greens my party of choice) that I started thinking that one day I might run for parliament! I’m still pumped at the prospect of being involved with the Greens and their campaigns, it’s great! I haven’t been this enthusiastic about something for a while!
This is a long term goal. I’ll mostly likely give the next federal election a miss (I’ve got about a year to think about this though, I might just change my mind!) The next state election is probably 3 years away. That’ll give me more time to study up, get some experience under my belt etc. Stay tuned folks!
Just about every university semester so far I’ve gotten behind or not studied until right when there’s an exam, gotten stressed out, and vowed not to do that again. Then I go and do it again the next semester :P The same’s happenened this semester. I’m making real progress in reversing my procrastination, I’ve caught up about 5 weeks worth of work in 2 days for this one subject so far, and I aim to be up to date (9 weeks worth of stuff) by tomorrow. Then after that it’ll be onto the next subject, then the next, then the next and by that time I will be completely up to date, and totally awesome to boot.
