How I did it: There's a cigar place here in Iowa City that sells hundreds of kinds, so I decided to try it out. Ended up buying a pretty good selection of all different kinds and testing a bunch out. Very good! Read how I did it…

How I did it: Well, it wasn't exactly Broadway so much as the tour cast (I saw it in San Francisco), but John O'Hurley played King Arthur and it was spectacular. We went for my dad's birthday and had orchestra level seats. I'd had the soundtrack memorized for about three years before seeing it and it was so perfect that I definitely cried at the end and between acts. Read how I did it…

How I did it: Participating in NaNoWriMo helped a lot, as did having a roommate do it at the same time. Not only was I driven to complete my novel in less than 30 days, but the added competition my roommate provided made it even more rewarding for me.
