How I did it: I watered sections of my lawn for 5-10 minutes every night. I also used soaker hoses to divert waste water from other activities like car washing, fish bowls, etc...I used an electric lawn mower with mulcher to recycle the cut grass into fertilizer. This fall has been terrible for hiking in general, not just because of the fires, but also because the local clubs have not been having events to go too. I have to wait till December right now for the next hike….Too long!
There are some year-round events that you can do anytime, but I miss hiking with friends.
Too much candy has sabotaged this goal for the moment. Still exercising every day, but slowed after I stubbed my toe pretty bad. Need to recommit to eating better and doing the work.
