they now both sit by the door, even if its open, until I tell them to go out. The problem is, if someone else has the door open, they just shoot on by. When they do get out of my house, I’m basically the only one to coax them to come back, otherwise they run amok all over the neighborhood until they decide they’re thirsty or hungry.

I got an american eskimo almost 3 years ago now, and I absolutely adore her. Like other “smaller dog” breeds, she is more active than the usual dog (oh by more active I mean hyper!!) but I love her to death and she feels the same about me. She’s insanely loyal and protective, but doesn’t mind making new friends. She is also really really smart, and can figure some things out or learn things that another breed probably couldn’t.
i saw them in milwaukee on the last day of summer 2006 tour in the states, and i met each and every one of them, plus i caught mike’s drum stick and they all signed it for me! johnny was especially polite and nice, but they are all really nice guys.
