I'm one step closer 6 months ago

I am proud to say that my debt is now half of I owed.
I paid my credit cards and I only have medical bills to pay!
I hope that by the end of this year I will be debt free, it has been hard work, but it paid off. I dont need to worry about phone calls or letters I just need to worry about the next step, and how I am going to raise my credit score.
People, don’t go to debt settlement companies, you can do this on your own.
Call the credit card companies one by one, start with the one you owe more and figure out a payment arrangement, trust me they want their money and they will help you if you are honest to them and tell them your financial situation.

Good luck to ya’ll

I'm working on it. 6 months ago

I am so lucky!
I am working on getting my business started and hopefully by the end of this year I will be a “business owner” not working for others waiting for a raise. I know it requires a lot, but I am confident that I will do it and it will be great!

stop living paycheck by paycheck (read all 2 entries…)
I'm getting there 6 months ago

Everything has change since I wrote that last entry.
I stopped working in retail and got into the Hospitality industry, as I said on my original entry I was looking for another job, I was online and I found this position; it was a concierge position and no experience was required, it was also full time. I applied and right and I got a response the next day and was hired on the spot the day after. From working 20 hours I was working 40+.
Unfortunately for my now former co-workers, the company had to fire some people, lucky for me, they decided not to let me go, and 6 months after I started there I became a supervisor. My schedule is pretty much set up, working only mornings, leaving the afternoons for myself, I make my own schedule,so that come in handy when I need some days off. My fiance and I rented our “first” official apartment it was a one bedroom and recently we just upgraded to a 2/2 apartment in a much better neighborhood.

I still struggle a bit sometimes, but now I can afford a lot more things. I am not worried that my boss would cut my hours.

I hope really soon I wont have to struggle anymore.
