I ended the first semister with all A’s! 4 months to go!

I had one of our finds cut in to a round emerald. I had it set in my mother in laws old 14 kt ring that she gave me years ago. AND IT IS STUNNING! Who has treasure! I do, I DO!

God sends me so many places just to plant His seed. And that is where He wants me.

I start on Monday. I’m nervous, but excited.
I have my uniforms and books and I’m ready.
I’ve also desided that I need to start eating really healthy and doing yoga so my body is in good condition to help other bodies.
I want to pass at the top of the class!

We went to a mining operation in NC and we found genuine emeralds and rubies! We had one emerald cut into a 1.2 carat round stone! It is beautiful! Real treasure! What fun this was. As I was screening for gems I caught a baby fish in my screen!

I’m a Christian and I’m not bragging, I’m writting to encourage others to be giving. There was a young pregnant teen aged mom, who was not married. So I went on line to walmart and bought a crib and mattress for her baby and had it delivered to her grandparents mobile home where she is living. I didn’t send a card or anything. I also heard about an elderly couple who needed a washer and drier and my daughter was moving to germany with the army and getting rid of her’s and was looking for someone to buy it. So I bought it and paid her the money and gave it to the elderly couple. We delivered it to them and found that they are sleeping on the coutch because they didn’t have a box spring. They are in their 60’s, so I went to Craigslist.com and got a free one for them. FREE is GOOD! Seeing a need and giving doesn’t have to cost money. Be a blessing to others feels so good to my heart.

None of that is dirty….!

okay, I took the big step and now we recycle everything! I’m so proud of us. We are no longer contributing to the trashing of mother earth. We go to the recycling bins every other Sunday. It is so easy, that I wonder why it took me over 40 years to do it. On the bottom of plastic bottles it has a recycling mark and a number in side of it. If the number is 1-7, it can be recycled. All cardboard, unless it has been contaminated with food, like a pizza box. We recycle plastic, metal cans, paper, magazines, cardboard and glass. Try it! You will save the world!

I found the most beautiful treasure in September of this year! I wont share the photos, you will have to go your self!! Well worth the trip!

On Thanksgiving, I cooked 2 turkeys and cut one up and fed the little mobile home family and dropped the other half off for the homeless guys down the street. Thank you God for a husband who didn’t mind so much delivering all this food on his holiday. Christmas gifts for kids who don’t have much is easy for me… when all the Christmas stuffed animals go on super sale in February, I stock up. Then in April when valentine bears go on sale I grab a few more…. I end up with these huge 2 foot tall dogs with roses in there mouths. If I see a store going out of business and I can pick up a few more toys, I do. I always see something cute and think “if I just knew someone that I could give that to,” well, I just buy it now anyway. Even if I spend $5 a month and get just one toy, by the end of the year I have a bunch. Then wonderful hubby and I clean out the closet in December and bring all of this to the Mall toys for tots drop box. I’m not bragging, I’m just sharing how easy, it can be if you set your heart to it.

But they shut it down….

So paying off debt, because I’m not going to get a savings interest rate that will match or beat my debt interst at 8%.

So paying off my debt is the best way to save my money right now until the stock market and banks stabilize!

We pay additional money every month, but after the first of the year I am really going to step it up. I’m thinking that with the grace of God, I’m going to double our payments. If I do, our mortgage will be paid off in 7 years!!

Wow! my estranged 23 yo daughter who is married to an atheist, who has told me for the last year and a half or so that She does not believe in “that religion stuff” and is not Christian, sat at my dinning room table last night and confessed that she believes in God and that Jesus Christ is His son and Died on the Cross for her sins.

Praise Jesus!!!!

There is a yahoo group that I belong to and a lady on there said that they didn’t have any food. So I got her address and we got her a few bags of food and a gift card to Food World. We went to her “home” to drop it off and they lived in a trailer that the floors are falling through, the roof is still damaged from the Hurricane Ivan and mold is the predominant smell. Thank you God for allowing my husband and I together to see just how blessed we are. I pray that her bags of food multiply in her home and that your healing spirit will move upon her family. Amen.

I just joined Greenpeace! I’m an activist! I can stand up for the earth! I love that I can do something to help!

Husband will not be too impressed with my trying to join a singles site… not even to save the world!

Well, if I can’t contribute to America on a political level, perhaps I can help the entire world by finding something on this green site http://www.green-passions.com/defun/groups.html Maybe find a green group who will need me…

I found this group http://www.citizensunited.org/ and believe in all that they are saying, but outside of $ I can’t see what they want from me. I believe that God is the foundation for this country and that if you don’t love our God, you can go. I believe that the citizens should strike fear in the hearts of politicians, because WE have the power to put them in our kick them out! but as I said… what do they need from me? So onward I search!

Charity work? Donate Money? Support? Educate? Go Green? I will let you know!!

How about teaching ladies / girls about diva cup… there is a good one to help out the environment with. Or how about watching ingredients in make up and lotion, don’t use anything with Mineral oil in it. It dries out your skin and is a by product of Gasoline! So many things to teach. How about putting $10 direct deposit in to a bank account a week, direct from your paycheck for the vacation you will take next year? That way when you put it on your credit card, when the bill comes in you have the money and the interest you have earned on your savings, instead of paying interest to borrow all year long. And if husban and wife both do this you will have about $1000 in a year!
