finish my associate's degree
my AAS/CIT complete

I got it in May, and it’s January… I’ve gotten a promotion, though I’ve gotten no other offers. I believe it has helped my resume get some more attention on the job posting boards.

I’m glad it’s over. It did kind of give me a sense of accomplishment. The best thing about doing it to me, was all of the valuable skills i learned doing the process… and not necessarily job related stuff, but more about just figuring out the systems that people create and discovering what it takes to excel in those systems and how that is directly related to your success in your role in that system.

Lose 10 pounds

It feels less rewarding each time you lose the same 10lbs, so if it’s more healthy for you to lose more, set a higher goal (or just reset this one at each success).

read "the odyssey" by homer
It's required reading for a reason

There’s so many references to this work in our modern, daily life. You’ll see severeal allusions in movies, art, literature, music, etc. Without having read this, the insight gained from the knowing the origin of the inspired works is lost. It’s themes, subjects, and plots you’ll see repeated time and time again and it will help your understanding of those to have read the work
