I just got out of the hospital and this is something my doctor discussed with me because its having a negative impact on my health. until about 3 years ago, i went to bed at midnight at the latest. now i sometimes stay up until noon the next day lol! the doctor is making me do a week long experiment in which i have to go for an appointment on Tuesday and then Friday of next week. It involves going to bed earlier each night and seeing how i feel and having tests done. I have to start by going to bed at 4am tomorrow night 2am saturday midnight sunday and 11pm monday. Then after the examination on tuesday, the doc is either going to have me stay at 11am for the next few days or maybe 10pm. they told me to sleep 8 hours total each night, adjusting wake time by sleep time. i can’t say im looking forward to this but ive been feeling crappy a lot lately and maybe it wll help.

How I did it: I started moving all of my data onto an external hard drive and then bought a 24 inch iMac. That same day I was using Mac OSX even better than the Windows I was accustomed to. Well right now I go to bed between 9AM and 11AM!! I sleep until most people have dinner. The doctor says this is messing up my body badly, which it probably is. I’m hoping someday to get in bed by midnight and wake at those times instead. It would be much better
