How I did it: Me, and 5 friends just decided to go and do it! In April!! I got the turkey a few days earlier and let it thaw in the fridge. Then put it in the oven for like four hours (small turkey). It was so good!! We also made, stuffing, turnips and carrots, squash, mashed potatoes... oh and a pumkin pie for desert!! with real whipped cream!!!! Just do this goal!! Its not difficult, in fact with the help of my friends it was so gosh darned easy!!:) … Read how I did it…
How I did it: I tried finding a time every day where I would sit down and play the guitar. While at the same time never tried to force myself if I didnt want to. I now seem to constantly have a guitar near me, eg while watching tv.. and just practice. Its so therapeutic, and relaxing! Read how I did it…
last spring break… there were some semi ideas of where to go, but the basic idea was drive and visit old friends… id like to do it again with more time where I could just aimlessly drive… perhaps flip a coin at every turn and see where I end up :p
i wrote before how this was something worth doing, and im not changing that because I learned a lot from my whole become impulsive experience. I went a little too far taking what I had learned from bio foundation of psychology, and reduced my 5-htp intake (found in certain meats, which increases will power and decreases impulsivity), and started to chew nicotine gum (for the weight reduction part, and also nicotine, does a cascade of reactions regarding norepinephrine, and tyrosine… resulting in increased impulsivity)...
I dont know if those supplements acted as a placebo, or aided but I became hugely impulsive. and, my new conclusion is balance. The only reason I sought to be impulsive is because I felt I was too controlled; however, when I became impulsive, I wanted to be more in control…. so, with everything it all comes down to the fact that neither extreme is healthy… the secret lies within the balance.
