Fingers Crossed! 3 days ago

After I went to my second interview, which was a group interview, I got a call back two days later with a job offer! It was for a job that was even better than the one I applied for! Right now I’m pending a background check but I’m fairly confident I’ve got the job. One of the things that would be so amazing about the job is that it is at their headquarters which is six blocks away from my home! I’m so excited to possibly have a job with proper benefits and better compensation!

Weird... 1 week ago

When I added this goal I thought this would be a long term goal, but yesterday I bought a pair of size 8 dress pants at Banana Republic. I’ve been sick for a little while and totally understand that this weight will come back whenever I start feeling better (but I had an interview today and had to look sharp). I also understand that certain stores sizes run large. I’m not going to mark this as complete until I buy a pair of my long standing favorite cut of blue jeans from my favorite store in a size 8, but I can’t help but being a little excited!

I had a second interview today. So if nothing else this was a good learning experience! Supposedly I’ll hear back by the end of the week.
