I love ever after…and I’d like to see if Da Vinci was right here in the movie Ever After though Prince Henry has a point :
Henry: Do you really think there is only one perfect mate?
Leonardo da Vinci: As a matter of fact, I do.
Henry: Well then how can you be certain to find them? And if you do find them, are they really the one for you or do you only think they are? And what happens if the person you’re supposed to be with never appears, or, or she does, but you’re too distracted to notice?
Leonardo da Vinci: You learn to pay attention.
Henry: Then let’s say God puts two people on Earth and they are lucky enough to find one another. But one of them gets hit by lightning. Well then what? Is that it? Or, perchance, you meet someone new and marry all over again. Is that the lady you’re supposed to be with or was it the first? And if so, when the two of them were walking side by side were they both the one for you and you just happened to meet the first one first or, was the second one supposed to be first? And is everything just chance or are some things meant to be?

The last time I checked the scales I was 152lbs…and then after a 2months I was 12lbs lighter at 140lbs.

The following is what I’ve been doing :
- No RICE… any less fattening carbs like wheat bread or cereal bran will do. But sometimes i succumb to pizza and pasta as long as it’s not a daily thing but just to satisfy a craving. But still NO RICE. Even if the viands require that you eat it with rice!
- Eat less at night. I eat like 5 spoonfuls or less for dinner unless I have a major night out with friends
- Slimming Coffee. More on this on my next entry.
- Avoid all fatty cravings for the first month. This is when I lost the most weight. Now Im just maintaining but I think I should go back to doing this to move forward.
- Get Active. I play soccer when I can which is on average every other weekend. This is the most activity that I get all week but it’s full of running so It’s good for sweating and burning those carbs!

You got to start somewhere. I’ve just given up Rice in my diet. Next week I’ll forbid myself from having carbs.
I’ve also started cardio..we’ll more of HipHopAbs. It’s a fun exercise routine. I just have to maintain in.
Everyweek I’ll try to add more to my list of challenges so I’ll gradually get use to a fit and healthy life style.
It helps too that I have a running bet with an officemate. :)
I sure hope this works.
Right now I’m overweight and need to lose 33pounds. Goodluck with that!
