How I did it
How I did it: I never bought a lot, but I cut back even less by thinking about what I bought that made me actually happy, like books and music. I set a small budget aside for those things, then cut away everything except the essentials. I mean the real essentials--a cup of coffee or whatever on the way to class doesn't count.I also buy used nearly exclusively, which in addition to price is often such an inconvenience you only end up getting the stuff… Read how I did it…
