unfortunately i threw out my back and spent 48 hours staring at the ceiling before making this a regular part of my day. now i know better!
for the second time in two years, i moved to a brand new city where i know no one. how’s that for living alone?
what better way to get me out? i’m ready to explore, find new places, new friends, and new experiences.
i am ecstatic to be finally working as a librarian: a job with equal parts teacher, researcher, entertainer, social worker, babysitter, advocate, publicist, and mentor. it is truly rewarding work for the noblest of causes: literacy and free access to information for all.

here’s to finishing a 2 year master’s degree in a year and a half. real world, here i come.
classes are finished, requirements fulfilled. i even received an academic reward. still waiting to hear on the final marks, but i think this goal is in the bag.
highly inspired by place. 20 songs. 11 bands from canada, 7 from montréal, 7 i have seen live in the last year.
two years of webspace is now mine. after years of agonizing over what to call my domain, it all came down to randomly stumbling across the right phrase. i hope to soon be the proud parent of a visually stunning space.
if all goes well, i will graduate with my master’s degree in library and information science in june 2005.
