Knitting is so totally worth learning. You can take it just about anywhere, and it can be as mindless or as challenging as you want it to be.
I’m barely out of novice territory, but it’s a skill I’ll always have now and will always be able to improve upon.
My husband’s family is Irish and several years ago aging grandpareants paid for everyone in the family to fly over there and spend a week doing whatever.
It was my first (and still only) time in Europe and it was so, so beautiful. I know it’s different now – we went there in 1997. I would highly recommend the southern coast, particularly the cliffs at Ardmore.
