that I told my boyfriend when he is going to marry me? lol I KNOW I KNOW… some of you are going to tell me “Green—don’t get ahead of yourself—haven’t we gone through these thoughts before…?”
Yes, you’re right. But really not at the same time. This time I really mean it. I’m not the one being “convinced”, I’m the one that truely wants it. Plus—this boy was the one I should have been with the entire last year, but wasn’t “allowed” to talk to…
ANYWAYS I’m not getting into that right now. Just saying—I have come up with a very thoughtful date—2.5 years from now. All I told him is he is going to marry me on that day, and I need a ring on my finger at least a year ahead of time to plan the wedding. hehe he is totally cool with it and agrees about it all. Just wondering if I’m totally crazy…

So here’s the dealio—
I have a 98 Jeep Grand Cherokee which is a piece of shit and I never should have bought. But I did, and so I get to pay for it…
$5200 loan, $3300 remaining, and paid out close to $3000 already in repairs (and it’s still no where near perfect). My goal, is to sell it for the $3300 I owe. No luck so far, but trying…
In the mean time, I am a pizza delivery driver. So, I cashed in my grandparents bank acct they gave me. When we were younger they started accts for all the grand kids. when they had some extra money, they’d put a bit in all our accts. They planned for it to go to college, but they said we could use it for whatever we needed to help further us in life. So, I used it, plus some saved money and bought myself a 1978 Toyota Celica. Yes, it’s old and yes it’s ugly, but it’s actually in absolutely incredible condition. only 131,000 miles on it. Get’s 30mpg rather then 11 like I do with the Jeep, meaning way more of my tips in my pocket then my gas tank. NO car loan payments (hopefully soon) and cheaper insurance will totally be worth it when I get rid of the Jeep.
Yes, it’s a bit of a catch 21 until I can sell the Jeep, however, it’s going to be completely worth it when it’s gone. Plus—the $170 I’ll be saving monthly when the Jeep is sold will be automatically going straight to my parents for the brunt of the rest of my debt.

I REALLY want to donate.
HOWEVER… Everywhere I’ve found to donate requires you have at least a bachelors degree. Let me ask you—why? I am totally capable of getting a bachelors and I’m sure I will someday. However, at this point in time, I’m not interested. I don’t have the money to go, and I don’t know what I want to study. SO I’m waiting. Which I feel is the responsible thing to do for the time being…
Why should I not be allowed to help someone purely because I am currently making a smart choice? Why do I have to wait until I decide I want to go into thousands and thousands more in debt before I can donate? It doesn’t make sense to me…
Does anybody know of any institution in which doesn’t require a bachelors pre donating?
