How I did it: The National Honors Society at my school helps sponsor a blood drive every year. I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to participate because you have to be 17. Then I found out that the day of the blood drive was my seventeenth birthday!! How I did it: I was at a football game with my sister and her friends (we went to different high schools) and I saw this guy whistling so I went over and asked him how he did it. He showed me how and I practiced for the rest of the game with him helping me and telling me what to do. I finally got it at the very end in time to practice my new skill for the winning touchdown.
