Well I’ve lost about 7 lbs this past month. I started on some meds (not weight loss meds) that have a side effect of making me less hungry, so that’s helped this past month AND I have been working out at least 4 days a week. I try to do an hour of cardio , I need to get better doing weight training more. Maybe take a class, got the schedule today so now I need to see where i can fit one in my schedule.
So I will continue on my quest ….

I went in my 20’s, when I was single, on my own …. AMAZING!
But I still was unprepared for the incredible reality of the Galapagos – neither for the uninhibited wildness and the other- worldly beauty of the lands nor for how quickly and completely they pulled me under their spell. It was magical!
“If you let it, the Galapagos will grab you by the soul and will never let go.”
I would love to go back when my children are older and can appreciate it.

Before I had my first Brazilian my hoo-haa was out of control. I asked my aenesthician if I should trim first because it was a bit long, she said “no”, but now I realize SHE was a sadist. She also did not wax me around the back.
That was at the Red Door Salon on Michigan Avenue in Chicago. Through word of mouth I found a new place in the suburbs and it was a MUCH better experience, in part because the hair was shorter and there was less to remove the 2nd time which was about 2 months later I think.
It’s not as painful if you go right after your period is over, not just before, you’re more sensitive “down there” at that time.
Also taking ibuprofen or similar about an hour before helps.
And , of course, it depends on your pain threshold.
If you go every 3 weeks, depending on hair growth it’s less painful too, not as much hair to remove and keeps it tidy.
I like to keep a strip or a heart or some hair, the prepubescent (no hair) look is not for me!
