yes.
i read somewhere that it takes 21 days for a human to break a habit.
and 48 to cultivate a new one to a point that is carried out unconsciously. . .
or mechanically . . .
anyway i am trying to quit smoking cigarettes.
Easily, the hardest thing i have ever tried to do.
including climb outta rock bottom a couple times.
anyway . . .
today marks either 13 or 14 days.
i caved yesterday—my worst/ and only—relapse – and took 2 drags of a buddy’s smoke at a memorial day bbq/ party .
but in the scheme of things, 2 drags in that scenario is ok
as long as i stay the course.
breathe fresh spring air
swallow air instead of smoke
its all a good thing

see, 15 months ago i wrote -“just find a man i can stand”
and sure enough, that’s exactly what i got.
was with him for about 6 months,
at first it was great- camping trips, river trips, perfect.
he was smart and cute – great friends too –
motorcycle rides through the mountains. . .
and a heeb!
come on now.
but then it got comfortable
and i began picking up his flaws
which were all offshoots of one main flaw of being wayy too self-centered
and boring in bed.
once i lost what attraction to him that i had, it was over.
now i have therefore changed this goal to read “find my man”
as in find my man to experience and adore life with.
my soulmate ,
my “one”
gd it would make all the difference in the world.
