So I wrote a letter to my nephew using a trick in my digital scrapbooking magazine – writing within a shape – and it took almost the ENTIRE day to figure out how to get it to fit on my 6×6 cardstock and I’m STILL not happy with how it turned out. UGH. I don’t know if it’s my printer or what…I shouldn’t be such a perfectionist. This is why the digital route will be much better for me than the traditional one…So I kinda sorta met my goal for this week…I’ll give myself an E for Effort. :)

Roald Dahl said, “A person is a fool to become a writer. His only compensation is absolute freedom.”
“Ultimately, happiness rests on how you establish a solid sense of self or being. Happiness does not lie in outward appearances nor in vanity. It is a matter of what you feel inside; it is a deep resonance in your life. To be filled each day with a rewarding sense of exhilaration and purpose, a sense of tasks accomplished and deep fulfillment – people who feel this way are happy. Those who have this sense of satisfaction even if they are extremely busy are much happier than those who have time on their hands but feel empty inside.”
