I think I’m under the 200 day mark now…
Though I’m finding I gotta do more paperwork to get out than I hadda do to get in! O well, its all for the ease of transition. Those ACAP classes and transition briefs have a lot of good info… don’t skip ‘em.

How I did it: I had never heard of cups until I saw a DivaCup add in magazine (Yoga Journal) about a year ago. I was intrigued, and started doing research on the different brands. I ended up buying a Mooncup UK. I was able to use it the first time with no problems. I'll never go back to tampons! Cups might seem expensive at first, but I used to use two boxes of tampons per cycle. I've saved a lot of money by switching. Read how I did it…

I’m trying something new…
Obviously my previous tactics have not gained me long-term success. So, I’m reassessing.
I have another addiction, which is shopping! (of course) I especially have a weakness for handmade awesomeness on Etsy.com, and I probably make at least one purchase a week, though I’m pretty good at controlling impulse spending. I have decided that I will make no more purchases until I can go two weeks without biting my nails.
Sooo, basically a reward system. I can buy something I want, in exchange for letting my nails grow. I went two days, had a slip up on the third… so yesterday I restarted the time frame.
I’m keeping a chart of all the days. Good days turn blue, biting days turn red. May 8th will be my shopping day if there’s no more slip-ups. :) Tomorrow will be a true challenge… bleh to Mondays.
I’ve been back in since February, and those 9 week semesters go fast! My finals are due on Tuesday (and I should be working on one right now!!)
Can’t wait to get signed up for my next classes… must call my adviser tomorrow.
Sometimes its kind of a bummer not being able to just relax and hang out after work… but I need to finish my degree. It will pay off in the long run.
