Well, I can stand on a surf board while a wave pushes me towards the beach. If that counts as surfing, then I learned to surf. I am bad at it, but it is lots of fun.
I’ve planted a Lapins Cherry on Colt rootstock in Riverside CA—USDA Zone 9. Supposedly we get far too few chill hours here for cherries. Will I ever get cherries?
