If you try, you can probably do it in 20 or 30 minutes. It’s also helpful that quite a few runes resemble the letter they represent.
The hard part is not forgetting them! It’ll definitely help to revisit them every once and a while.
I’ve already taken lessons before, been to Germany a few times, have German friends that I keep in contact with, and sometimes speak it with my mother, but I still have a ways to go. I’m taking German in school, actually, so I hope to get to learn the language better there.
