How I did it: i originally wasn't going to move for grad school, much less here but i couldn't be happier even if i don't know anyone here. i've only been here a few weeks so i'm still adjusting. Read how I did it…
How I did it: willed myself not to get a hair cut by a said date. and that date was over 6 months ago and i've only had 2 trims since then. it's never been this long. Read how I did it…
How I did it: went to the piercing parlor. paid the man. got my stud. my piercer was very friendly, funny, bearded, and gave me a lolly. :) Read how I did it…

i got back from studying in london for 6 weeks a few weeks ago and it was amazing. i was sick for a week so i did miss out on some of the sight-seeing, but some things are unavoidable. however, it was one of the best experiences of my life and now i’m stuck with the travel bug to go back there and see all that i missed in london along with the other cities we visited (dublin, amsterdam, paris) and loads of others.
i would definitely say to the 724 who want to do this, what are you waiting for? go for it.
it was swell, but the one thing i forgot from picnics when i was younger was the bugs that always try to crawl in your food!
