read something recommended to me by a friend

Bob was going on and on about this book written by this guy. Jonathan Something Something. “It’s amazing. It’s language at its best.” It’s Everything is Illuminated. At the bookstore I bought that and his other book – Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close. They both were wonderful and the latter holds a special place in my heart.



Learn to make an a-line skirt with a zipper and some fun felt cut-outs sewn to it.

I made an aprom (that’s like half the battle), I made a scarf with fun felt cut outs sewn on it (that’s like 40% the battle) and I’ve used a zipper every single day for YEARS now (10%). Hooray!
