Had to get mine renewed to go to Germany, and now I’m going to Russia in a few weeks. I kept my old one (and they never even asked after it), because it’s from the US embassy in Rome, and from my first trip to Europe. Excellent souvenior.

You have to have one! Especially because, in the US I believe it’s now required for traveling to Mexico, Canada, Bahamas and the Carib.
