How I did it: I have a bit of pride. I do not like pretending to be as pitiful as possible and saying that I'm sick. I don't even like calling in when I'm REALLY sick. What always works for me is making my inability to work based on another person, ie. my grandmother or mother being sick and in need of care. For the most part, my excuses are rooted in truth but there is always some variance.. which is time. Fortunately, when anyone else does get sick I… Read how I did it…
How I did it: I fought like hell. I'd probably rate my itch an 8. I grew very, very addicted to scratching and picking at my hot-spots. (if you've experienced an itch of this magnitude you understand how much of a RELEASE you receive when you go at it for a minute) It may seem like a dead end, but you can totally overcome it. How I did it: When I decided I REALLY wanted to work at barnes and noble, I was under eighteen. But I stuck it out and applied a couple of months after my birthday and (fortunately) in hiring season. Personally, I knew a respectable college kid who worked there, which realllly helped. B&N in general receives a huge volume of applications, so every little bit helps. Read how I did it…

I love my body. but I’ve recently seemed to put on 15 lbs – purely due to inactivity. I used to bike EVERYWHERE. realistically I don’t think my activity level will be as aggressive as it used to but I’d like to think I can hold my own. and with that being said, I want to become more physically fit.
finals are up, and I thought I could squeeze work and term papers into several hours? hah. what I need to do is call in from work.. I’ve only called out a few times, two times were legit with documentation and one time in which it was wayyy too early and I just couldn’t muster up the motivation to come to work. after all the times I’ve put work before school, I deserve to do the right thing.
