How I did it: I didn't actually set out to do these things intentionally, but I think by opening up my overall perspective in life and realizing I can do so much more than my normal routine really helped me to easily meet this goal. Thanks to John Lee for inviting me to this one. :D Read how I did it…
How I did it: It wasn't easy in the beginning to make the decision to leave my husband. We had met when I was just 18 years old and he was really someone I thought I was "supposed" to be with according to the standards of my family and my church. But when I realized he was a pathetic asshole, I decided to take my life back into my own hands and leave it all behind. It took a good two years for me to work up the courage to do it, but I am so glad I left… Read how I did it…

Usually it is fairly easy to meet friends with whom I have a lot in common with online, but I do want to expand my circle of friends in real life to people who read a lot like me and are just goof genuine people. You can never have enough good friends in your corner.
Both my boyfriend and I are on the second big relationship of our lives. He has a baby mama; I have an ex husband and a bankruptcy. So basically we are both starting our lives over with each other. What is hard is the part where we have to wait. Waiting for him to finish school so that we can look to marriage and kids. Waiting for my credit to improve and for another promotion to happen before we can buy a house. I guess these are things I want in order to feel like we are moving forward instead of being in a holding pattern. Two years is coming up for us and I think it will be another two before any of the things we want can happen…so I feel like we need to find mini goals along the path to make it feel like we are making progress in building a life together…any ideas from anyone on what we could do?
