This summer, at the age of 17, I decided to live and work away from home. It was so scary, yet so exciting. But, most important of all, it was worth it a million times over. I have been having such a blast! When an opportunity presents itself, take it! Don’t look back, just grab hold of life and run with it. There is so much to experience out there. :)

How I did it: I was so excited to donate blood. Well, they stuck the needle into my arm. Throughout the whole process my blood was moving very slowly through the tube and they had to adjust it quite often. Then about 1/2 way through, I started feeling light-headed, so the nurses fanned me and put ice packs on me. Then I started feeling better.
