it amazes me to see my parents together. they have been married for a really long time and are still incredibly in love. i want to find that and share that with someone someday.

my dad is really well-rounded and can have a conversation with anyone about anything. i am incredibly jealous of that skill and am trying my best to live up to his example. he is soooo smart.

ever since i was little, i’ve wanted to do stuff for myself. my mommy NEVER fixed my hair, i’d do it myself.
this little independent streak caused me to realize that i don’t want to be one of those girls who is unable to function without a guy. that’s why my goal is to be able to support myself doing something i love, and THEN see about adding another person to my life. not the other way around.
