I totally recommend giving blood. Remember the person you save, might just be you! I am B- and it is one of the more rare blood types, so I try to give every 56 days. I will warn you that once you’ve given blood, the red cross will hound you until the day you die to do it again…maybe even after you die, but knowing you saved someones life (or could be saving your own) is well worth the phone calls.

I am giving myself an incentive to lose this last twenty pounds. I already lost 20, but don’t feel that I am quite done yet. However, the original zest with which the first 20 pounds melted off of me is gone. I am going to give myself a small incentive to get me through this next 20… I am thinking of either granting myself the spa day or the independent vacation that are on my 43 things. I suppose you could call it “killing two birds with one stone.” Wish me luck!
