This is definitely one of the goals at the bottom of my list since I just got a car earlier this year and because I definitely cannot afford a hybrid right now. However, I am CERTAIN that my next car will be a hybrid or some other sort of little-to-no-gas vehicle. Planning to drive out my Malibu a handful of years at which point I’ll probably be better able to afford a hybrid… and at which point they’ll probably have lots more, cheaper, and better looking hybrids. Looking forward to it. :) Until then I’m thankful I don’t have to do much driving (5 miles from work) and that my car gets decent gas mileage. :) Oh, and that gas prices are still falling. Whew!

Again, boyfriend and I doing much better than (near exactly) 9 months ago. Learning to trust a lot more. He’s been wonderful at working on the things that used to make me doubt him in the past and the things that really hurt me in the weeks leading up to our breakup… Doing things when he says he will. Making good on promises. Doing all those things that show me I can trust him again. I’m almost nearly back up to 100%... and goodness is that a comfort. Not being able to trust someone you thought you were going to spend your life with is a rough thing to deal with and I’m glad I’m near over that. Still working on though, so this goal will stay up a little longer.
I’ve made a lot pf progress with my goal of being more emotionall independent over the past 9 months or so. Main reason I added it to 43things in the first place was because a lot of times things my boyfriend did (when we were living together) that bothered me would sometimes really really bug me to the point of nearly ruining my day… I’ve gotten a lot better at letting things roll off of me and moving on, not sweating the small stuff. Keeping this goal up a little longer though since I’m not certain I’ve kicked this habit yet, but I’m pretty close! :D
