How I did it: By deciding that my recovery and my health are paramount. As an emergency medicine resident, if I don't have my health, I have nothing. My busy months, with about 100 hours per week spent working, did not allow me to get 7 to 8 hours sleep (which is what I get now), and I got quite ill. Unfortunately due to demands of my job, I just kept working. But, it helped me realize how important sleep is. And, on days off, I also try to sleep no lo… Read how I did it…
How I did it: good clear nail polish, decreasing my stress level. when i get very stressed out, and being an emergency medicine resident this seems to be a pretty big goal, i tend to overeat and bite my nails. so, it also helps me gauge when my stress level is critical - i start to bite my nails and not take the 2 minutes to paint them (clear so i don't have to work at it) Read how I did it…
Well, I finally went through my big 4 drawer filing cabinet and have a GTD style file!!! It feels great. Now, just to get rid of the rest…
I want to think of this in the bigger picture – not in such an isolated fashion. Health!!! Not one stinky rule :)
