I’m currently in my second semester of German class. It has been fun and mindboggling, totally went crazy with the grammar. I’m still learning at the moment, and won’t be going on to the next level. But it’s so worth it because I’ve done it! And I’m proud of it, even though I’m not very good at it. But yeah, the new friends, the new environment, the tongue-twisting vocabulary and the migraine-inducing grammar – so very worth it.

How I did it: One day, I decided to stop thinking about it, and just do it! So I signed up for German language classes at the Goethe-Institut. Being an introvert, it was pretty hard to take that first step since I was going alone. Lessons were fun and I got to meet some new people, so the whole experience was enjoyable (although a little stressful).Unfortunately, I have learnt that I do not have a knack for language, so after passing 2 levels of basic … Read how I did it…
How I did it: Kept an open mind, basically just tried to enjoy life as it is and what people have to offer. Chose my friends wisely. As a friend told me, "keep those who bring out the best in you, and those whom you can bring out the best in them." most importantly, got rid of teenage/quarterlife-angst and emo, and stop saying life sucks and people suck...and just start to live the way you wanted your life to be.if you're having fun, you'll meet loads … Read how I did it…
