How I did it: I never thought I'd manage to get into Fashion at Central Saint Martins, let alone at 17! But, I did, and it was all thanks to a strong portfolio and making it clear I'd be able to handle living alone in London at such a young age. How I did it: Doing extra days at college, staying until 9PM, taking in lots of caffeine, pure dedication and having the patience of a saint - and my amazing tutor. I rarely went on nights out: I think I went on a total of three in the six and a half months I was working on it. I spent my week-ends researching and making anything I needed to.
