For me, keeping my room clean is an endless battle. I’ll clean it, and three days later it is a disaster again.
This weekend I decided to get busy and get organized for good. My inspiration has been a daily viewing of “How Clean is Your House?” on YouTube. My room/house has NEVER gotten to the extent of the houses shown, but I’ve chosen to watch an episode a day to get me thinking, “Don’t become one of those people! Clean your room!”
Saturday and Sunday I worked on my room, rearranging a little, and giving it a good dusting and vaccuuming. I love it, I can walk around and not have to worry about stepping on things. The only thing is that my room isn’t technically clean yet, I shoved miscellaneous things (receipts, bank statements, stuff that needs a home) into three Walmart bags. I know I’m not finished, but I figure I can work on maintaining the organization I have as I sort through the bags I have set aside.
It’s only been three days, but so far so good. I went though one bag of stuff last night and I’ve been putting stuff away right away rather than just throwing it on the floor because I’m tired.

I know when it comes to working out, weight loss, etc., they always say you shouldn’t hold off – you should start right away. However, seeing as how it is finals week, I don’t really think that would be a good idea. So that is why my challenge will officially start Saturday, the day after classes end. :-)
Now I realize it isn’t healthy to workout EVERYDAY. They say you should have a few days off. One day a week my workout will consist of a 30+ minute walk, nothing intense. I also intend on doing different types of workouts everyday (ie: one day aerobics, one day running, etc.) so I won’t be having the same workout day after day.
I don’t want to get sick, buf if I do, my workouts my be limited to walks – nothing too strenuous – until I get better.
I can do this. :-)
