The only reason this is on my list is because I need a personal life! I love my home and the beauty of the area in which I live, but the quality of my life is lacking because there is no one to share it with me.

Now that I read this it sounds so pathetic. My kids pretty much do respect me. I must have been having a bad day with my teenager when I added this as one of my things. I’m leaving it though, because I still think it’s a worthy thing.

I love my job but I need to build a social network. It just isn’t gonna happen here. I moved here for the kids and really wasn’t thinking about mom’s social life as a mid-life single in small town America. I can’t help recalling Harper Valley PTA.
