I entered the National Novel Writing Month competition, and challenged a bunch of Charles Williams fans to write a Charles Williams style novel—50000 words in a month.
Well, I did it, but a Charles Williams type novel it isn’t. A friend who read it said it was a page turner and an exciting read, but would need more work on characters etc if it was not to be just a Sexton Blake type of thing. So that’s what I must do, if it is to be worth reading like
