How I did it: A couple of times I was lucky, and won passes to special events where i was ensured to meet them. Others, I was just patient. They come out after every show they can. Their fans mean a lot to them. One time, they were in a rush and late for a flight, but they still took the time to thank me for coming and give me a hug. Read how I did it…
How I did it: Got a job during the spring semester of school, saved up the $300. Drove up to Sky Dive Santa Barbara, which is actually in Lompoc about 50 miles from Santa Barbara. WIthin about 30 minutes of arrival, I was boarding the plane. you aren’t a major victim of all the pushing and shoving, you can get great photos, and it has it’s advantages ;)

it’s a worthwhile experience, but there’s a lot of sitting around and waiting.
i’ve met them several times. they’ve always been the sweetest guys ever. i’d ask them for a set list after they finish their set, and they’d stop what they were doing, walk across the stage and get me one (:
