attend a civil war reenactment

I don’t like history at all but have a really good friend who does reenactments. A friend and I ventured out to one not having any idea what went on at them or if we had to pay to go or really any idea about anything. lol. But I ended up having a lot of fun. Except for the guys in our friends unit all surrounded us when it was over and it was kind of awkward.
Even though I had no idea what was going on I had a really good time and maybe will venture out to another one day.
