so, seeing as how we’re already 6 months into a 1 year lease, we’ve decided to leave any non-necessary items in their boxes. if we renew our lease at the end of this year…we MIGHT unpack. but we’ve talked it over, and we don’t intend to fully unpack all of our belongings (most of which have stayed in varying boxes since we moved out of my mom’s house years ago) until we actually purchase a house. it’s tiring to think about unpacking, spending months getting all the decorative stuff in just the right places…then a few short months after you get it perfect, it’s a whole extra ton of crap to pack right back up. screw that. we’ve lived six months without unpacking hardly anything. we’ll just keep it up the next six months. and the next year. we plan to buy a house by next decemberish. then i’ll unpack. and it will be glorious.

can i have MORE done this? i thought i had this bill paying thing down pat a year ago…and now i’ve got it so down pat it’s ridiculous. i don’t even remember the last time i was behind on a bill, or had to borrow money, or find money, or invent money to cover a bill. the 15th comes, the bills get paid. how lovely!
we’re renting a house right now. we’ve only been here for 4 months, but we both know this is the house we want. the property isn’t rent with the option to buy, but we’re hoping that the property owner will be willing to sell to us. from the neighbors we have discovered that the house is paid off and her kids are grown with houses of their own, so it’s pretty much obvious that this is just an income generator. so cross your fingers. we wants it bad.
