Quit Smoking
Unintentional? 10 months ago

I had planned to quit smoking with the new year, as part of my goal of getting rid of my bad habits and replacing them with healthier ones.

I didn’t count on getting sick, though. On NYE, my throat started hurting badly, from post-nasal drip. Since then I have completely lost my voice, developed an ear infection, and have been recovering from some awful sinus crud.

BUT, I haven’t smoked at all! I was a pack a day smoker, and haven’t smoked for a week into the new year. I hope I can stay quit once I am back to normal…

this scarf was meant to be a christmas present, but now i am shooting for his birthday. i’ve already got about 6 inches done, though.

improve my skin
my goal 11 months ago

to find a simple routine that works for ME.

i did the oil cleansing method, which really helped my skin, but it was too much of a hassle, and impossible in hot alabama summers.

in the past few months, i’ve found a routine that, so far, is working for my combination skin (the oily is REALLY oily, the dry is REALLY dry). i won’t know for sure until the season changes if this is a good routine.
