My friend has just bought a set of DIY bedside table from Ikea. I was just at his place messing around and saw that his room was really untidy. So without screwdrivers or the hammer required, we managed to build it up from scratch (with instructions of course) and we were proud of ourselves after that.
It is therapeutic to build things from scratch. Kinda gives life a brighter spark.
Some guy read my blog ages ago and somehow he had the idea that he either wanted to give me a pair of John Pizzarelli concert tickets or an iPod Mini. He stuck with the iPod idea because he felt that this way, the music could accompany me wherever i go.
His exact quote was “Without music, life would be a mistake.” by Nietzsche and so he transferred me the money and told me to get one for myself.
I did. I got one in pink and now it is one of my best friends everywhere.
